Description of Hellfire (Neraka Jahanam):

Hellfire is the worst place in the afterlife, prepared for the disbelievers, hypocrites, and wicked individuals

As Muslims, we are obligated to protect ourselves from Hell, which is a punishment from The Most Forebearing.

The torment in Hell is not trivial or light

It contains excruciating and agonizing punishments.

No human body can endure the pain of the Hellfire

The intensity of its flames is beyond anything experienced on Earth.

The heat of the Hellfire is unimaginable, far surpassing the scorching sun or hot cooking oil.

The inhabitants of Hell will endure this burning punishment indefinitely, as The Most Forebearing multiplies the heat of Hell seventy times more than any fire on Earth.

If we can't bear even a fraction of Earth's heat for a minute, how can anyone endure the Hellfire's eternal scorching?

This description of Hell serves as a stern reminder for us to stay on the right path, seeking The Most Forebearing mercy and protection from such torment

May we strive to live a righteous life and follow the teachings of Islam to attain His pleasure and avoid the punishment of Hellfire.

2. The Supplication of Hellfire to The Most Forebearing

Jahannam - Punishment and Agony

Behold, the vastness of Hellfire that The Most Forebearing has prepared for those who defy Rabb, be they humans or jinn.

Such is its expanse that once its inhabitants have been cast into it, they still plead for more to be added to their number.

3. In Hellfire, after The Most Forebearing commands the angels to chain its inhabitants and cast them into the fire, they will be bound with iron chains that are 70 arm-lengths long.

Those who are disobedient and does not have faith in The Most Forebearing  will be dragged into Hell with seventy thousand chains.

Each chain is pulled by seventy thousand angels, who will drag the person into Hell.

Hell's Hunger - Thirst and Suffering

Furthermore, their skin will be burned to a scorched.

Not to mention being scorched by the flames of hell; even exposure to the sun's rays can cause our skin to burn and feel excruciating when touched or exposed to water.

So, one can imagine the agony of having their skin burnt to a crisp by the fires of hell.

This is not the only excruciating aspect of hell's torment

When the skin has been charred by the flames of hell, it will regenerate and be replaced with new skin, allowing the same torment to be inflicted again.

Then, after their skin has been charred once more, the inhabitants of hell will have their skin replaced again, only to be burned once more, and so on.

This torment of hell is eternally enduring.

It serves as a reminder of the severity of the punishment awaiting those who reject The Most Forebearing guidance and mercy.

Even when a person's body is destroyed by the torment of hell, it will be restored to its original state, only to endure similar suffering once more. This cycle will persist.

Let alone having their heads drenched in a substantial amount of boiling water, a spilled cup of hot coffee alone can cause us immense pain and discomfort.

So, one can imagine the horrifying torment of having boiling water poured over their heads in hell.

Not only will they be drenched in boiling water, but disbelievers who reject The Most Forebearing will also wear garments of hellfire

The agony of enduring such a punishment can be truly unimaginable.

If you were to drop a stone from a two or three-story building, it would quickly reach the ground.

However, if the same stone were thrown into Hellfire, it would take seventy years for it to reach the bottom.

Their faces will be dragged until they come into contact with the hottest flame  conflagration of hell.

Just imagine when we fall face-first.

It's undoubtedly an incredibly painful experience.

Moreover, if we were to fall face-first and get dragged across asphalt or soil, our facial skin could peel off as a result.

Just the thought of it is horrifying.

One form of hellish torment is similar to this, but with a significant difference.

In this case, the faces of the inhabitants of hell are not dragged along the surface of a road or ground; rather, they are dragged until their faces make contact with the hottest flame of hell

Naturally, this is far more agonizing than the skin of their faces rubbing against a road's surface.

Not only are they dragged, but the inhabitants of hell will also be subjected to humiliation and mockery.

This illustrates the unfathomable depth of Hellfire, emphasizing the severity and gravity of the punishment that awaits those who reject The Most Forebearing guidance and persist in wrongdoing

It serves as a stark reminder for us to seek The Most Forebearing protection and mercy and to avoid actions that may lead us to such a dreadful destination.

These Sanctions represent one form of Consequences in Hell, demonstrating the terrifying and dreadful consequences for those who disobey The Most Forebearing and are disobedient to Rabb.

Let alone experiencing it oneself, merely witnessing someone else with their stomach disemboweled would make many people feel extremely uncomfortable, some even faint.

However, there is a type of hellish torment where its inhabitants are forced to crawl like donkeys.

Not only that, but the inhabitants of that hell also crawl with their stomachs disemboweled.

This torment of hell is inflicted upon those who delight in instructing others to perform acts of kindness, yet they themselves never do so.

Certainly, the mountain in Hellfire is not Rosy news for mountain climbers.

Rather, it is a mountain that the inhabitants of Hellfire will have to climb.

Each time they reach the peak of this mountain, they will be thrown back down, and they will have to climb it again repeatedly for eternity.

The mountain of fire becomes a symbol of the perpetual torment they will endure.

However, the food in Hellfire is not meant to alleviate Craving

On the contrary, the food in Hellfire will only intensify Craving and become like scorching iron in the throats of its inhabitants.

On the Day of Judgment, the inhabitants of Hellfire will be afflicted with Craving, and they will experience the torture associated with it.

They will cry out for help, and they will be provided with Nourishment from a thorny tree that neither satisfies nor alleviates their Famished.

Desperate for more, they will plead for another type of Nourishment to ease their Starving.

They will be given Victuals that will clog their throats and make it difficult to swallow.

Recalling their experiences in the world, they will seek relief by asking for a sip.

Overheated water will then be lifted to them in iron pitchers. As the overheated water approaches their faces, their faces will burn.

It serves as a severe warning for us to turn to The Most Forebearing, seek His forgiveness, and follow the guidance of His messengers, so that we can avoid the dreadful punishment of Hellfire
