Satan tries to obstruct humans from seeing goodness through their own actions.
Nevertheless, many blessings are freely given by The Most Forebearing to every individual to the extent that they cannot be counted. From birth, humans are endowed with countless blessings from The Most Forebearing, gifts that never cease throughout their lives.
Furthermore, just as the air is always there for us to live every second as long as we are capable of breathing, it is often forgotten that it is a blessing from The Most Forebearing, especially considering the inability of humans to see the presence of this air. It is indeed a hardship when there are our brethren who struggle to breathe and have to pay dearly to enjoy the air, which, on the other hand, for those of us who are feeling healthy, we sometimes forget to appreciate the ease that The Most Forebearing has given to breathe and inhale fresh air.
One of the incredible blessings of The Most Forebearing for us is our five senses. These five senses serve as our gateways to perceive and experience things that cannot be explained by science. They can also be seen as tools. This means that there are things that cannot be explained by science, and even scientists are puzzled about how to describe them, but they can be easily understood and grasped by the five senses that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ( The Most Forebearing ) has given us.
For example, we know various colors through our sense of sight, which is our eyes. With the help of our eyes, we can easily distinguish between red and white. However, can we explain what the color red or the color white is to someone who does not have sight, or to a person we call blind?
We would definitely find it very difficult to explain to them, so the understanding of color can only be given by the eyes and not through scientific explanations.
Similarly, our second sense, which is our sense of hearing, makes us recognize differences in sounds, tones, and noises. Through our ears, we can distinguish the recitation of the Quran, music, the call to prayer (Adhan), and the sound of fireworks. However, we would not be able to explain the sweetness of songs by singers or the beauty of the recitation of the Holy Quran to someone who does not have the sense of hearing, or to a person we call deaf.
The third sense is our sense of smell. This sense of smell is also incredible. It is impossible for us to scientifically interpret the fragrance of perfume, but our noses can easily distinguish what smells good and what smells bad. All questions related to odors can only be answered by our noses and not through scientific explanations.
Our sense of touch or our skin contains sensory nerves that can perceive everything we touch and hold. This cannot be explained by any other sense except the skin. For example, how can we feel the difference between hot and cold sensations except through our skin? It can't be expressed in words or through science; we can only feel it through our skin.
Finally, there is our tongue, which functions as our sense of taste or flavor. This is one of the blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ( The Most Forebearing ) That makes our lives very enjoyable. With our tongue, we can savor a variety of dishes, from the sweetness of sugar to the saltiness of salt, all of which we can easily distinguish with the help of our tongue. No matter how brilliant scientists are, they will undoubtedly struggle if asked to explain what spicy tastes like, what salty tastes like, and what sweet tastes like, except by allowing our tongues to taste them. Therefore, let us always be grateful to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ( The Most Forebearing ) for the various blessings bestowed upon us.
